ProWildfireDefense is a wildfire home-defense service provider provider mainly serving the Bay Area and other locations throughout California. Founded in 2024 by Bart Kimber, a retired firefighter and disabled Veteran with over 22 years of fire service and has worked for the last 5 years in home wildfire defense. The ProWildfireDefense company was built from Bart’s drive to protect homes from the increasing threat of wildfires, using modern prevention technologies and proven mitigation techniques. 

After five years specializing in home hardening and wildfire mitigation across Southern and Northern California, Bart launched Pro Wildfire Defense.

Pro Wildfire Defense offers a wide range of professional services, including: 

Comprehensive home assessments to identify fire risks and implement safety improvements.
Official IBHS home inspections by Madronas for Wildfire Prepared Home designation.

Long-Term Fire-Retardant (LTFR), 
ProWildfireDefense uses a proprietary process includes pre-treating Cedar Shingle roofing, fences, and decks, to inhibit combustion, and coating property’s vegetation with ground-applied Phos-Chek to slow the effects of embers or fire brands blown by vegetation fires before they can start a fire.
